Fee And Services

“Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.” – Dalai Lama.

We don’t like to use the term fee as we are not here to do business; we prefer to refer to it as contribution.

Initially, we want to make clear that 30% of your contribution will go to Tibet Hope Center, 20% is for our partner organizations and 50% is used to cover all services including:
Airport pickup
Round trip from Delhi to Dharamsala
Accommodation
Sightseeing in Dharamsala and the surrounding area
*meals are not included, more information enclosed below

Our Services Include

*Pick up and drop off at Delhi Airport

*Round trip from Delhi to Dharamsala (one night stay in Delhi up and down, depending on your flight)

*Site seeing around Dharamsala:

Main temple:
This temple is also known as the Dalai Lama’s temple. This is one of the biggest tourist attractions in town.

Tibet Museum:
This museum shows the history of Tibet through videos and photos.

Water Fall:
This is the only water fall near the town, it is known as Bagsu water fall. It includes a public swimming pool visited by thousands of Indians yearly because it is a Hindu heritage site.

TCV School:
TCV stands for Tibetan Children’s Village. It is one of the biggest school in the Tibetan community as well as the 7th largest school in Asia hosting around 3000 students. It is a boarding school offering accommodation, food and education to the students.

Tibetan Government In Exile:
This government is not recognized by the rest of the world due to political issues but still governs the Tibetans in exile.

Tibetan Library:
This library is one of the biggest libraries in Tibetan community where there are books on Buddhism, Tibet, India etc.

Nechung Monastery:
It is a small monastery located in a peaceful area. Nechung is the name of a state oracle for Tibet.

Karmapa Monastry:
The Karmapa is the third highest lama in Tibet. Some believe that he will be the next leader after H.H. The Dalai Lama. There are a few hundred monks in this monastery. If possible, we will also arrange an audience with the Karamapa.

Norbu Linka:
Norbu Linka was the summer palace of H.H. The Dalai Lama in Tibet. Here in India, it is an institute dedicated to the preservation of Tibetan artistic traditions. This place includes a temple, museum, restaurant and shopping center.

*Room during your stay
The room will include an attached bathroom along with hot shower. We also ensure it will be clean and tidy as we only book the best local rooms.

Please take note that your flight is not included in this price and be so kind as to arrange this and inform us of all the details.

Food Budget;
You can get all kinds of food in the town where there are restaurants which serve Italian, Indian, Tibetan, Chinese, etc. Moreover, there are several pubs in the town. The coffee is great here.

The food here is usually cheap. $10 will be more than enough per day but if beer and coffee is something you enjoy then an extra $5 will be good.
